Kentmere Healthcare Consulting Corporation Welcomes Andrew Baskin, MD, as Chief Medical Officer

Andrew BaskinWILMINGTON, Del. (Dec. 16, 2025)—Kentmere Healthcare Consulting Corporation has named Andrew Baskin, MD, formerly of Aetna/CVS, as its new Chief Medical Officer. Since 2000, the company has delivered significant cost savings through its proprietary and highly customized Kentmere Outpatient Laboratory Benefit Management Program™ to local, regional and national health plans.

“Dr. Baskin’s extensive health plan and medical policy experience, combined with his clinical expertise as a Board-Certified internal medicine physician, make him an ideal fit for our CMO role,” said Jeffrey M. Dr. Baskin brings more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including 22 years with Aetna/CVS, where he served in roles such as National Medical Director of Clinical Policy and Quality and Interim Chief Medical Officer. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years in private practice as an internal medicine physician specializing in geriatrics.

Dr. Baskin is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine and his Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA.

Dr. Baskin succeeds Russel Kaufman, MD, who served Kentmere with distinction as Chief Medical Officer for the last 12 years. Dr. Kaufman will transition to a scaled-back role as Chief Medical Officer Emeritus and Clinical Advisor effective February 1, 2026.
